Choose a size and a base

At an açaí shop, you will usually choose a size such as pequeno, médio, or grande. Say um copo de… for a cup of açaí, or ask which sizes are available. Some menus let you choose the açaí base first and toppings afterward.

Quais tamanhos vocês têm?What sizes do you have?
Eu queria um copo médio de açaí, por favor.I’d like a medium cup of açaí, please.

Add fruit, granola, or another topping

Cobertura means topping, and adicionais are add-ons. Common choices include banana, morango (strawberry), granola, and leite em pó (powdered milk). Ask whether a topping is included or costs extra instead of assuming every menu works the same way.

O leite em pó está incluído ou é um adicional? Is powdered milk included, or is it an extra?

Ask what is in the bowl and take it to go

Use vem com…? to ask what something comes with. If you have a dietary need, name the ingredient directly and ask staff to confirm. Para viagem means to go; para comer aqui means to eat here.

Make the phrase useful to you

Choose one example you could actually use. Say it once from memory, then change one detail that fits your life, such as the person, place, time, or object. Check whether your change also needs a different verb form, article, or adjective ending. If it does, compare it with the pattern in the explanation.

Use tamanho, cobertura, and adicional to build a simple açaí order in Portuguese.

Return to two prompts tomorrow without opening the answers first. If a phrase still feels difficult, shorten it to a useful chunk and build the complete sentence again.
